We just came back from our first boondocking trip - Big Bend Natl. Park. I'm using the Champion 2800/3100 which started and ran our 15000 BTU A/C. HOWEVER I had to turn everything in the camper to off in order to get the A/C started. Once it was running I could turn everything back on and switch the generator to eco mode and it performed beautifully at low rpm's. I'm considering having a "hard start" kit installed on the A/C.

I'm a diehard Boliy user and recommend them to others. The Boliy is a true 3000 watt continuous and Champion is 2800 watts continuous.
