Power to retract jacks?

After four days of dry camping my two 12 volt batteries will be low. When I hook up to leave will the power cord from the trailer to the truck give me enough power to retract jacks and stabilizers?

That will depend on wether or not your truck is hooked up to charge your trailer battery. If it is wired correctly it won't be a problem.

To check you can plug the 7 way into the truck while it's running and the camper's interior lights should brighten if the trucks 12V wire is hot.

In this weather with it being cold enough to run the furnace, 4 days dry camping without recharging the batteries every day is optimistic. The furnace fan is a big power hog.

You could just carry a spare battery for the stabilizers but I'm with Dave unless you've got some serious batteries one won't last 2 nights without a recharge if your running the furnace.

that's why we have a Honda 2000, to recharge our two 12v batteries after 3-4 days of furnace use.
but we dry camp almost all the time so it was worth the price.

Like other have said, as long as it is wired to power the trailer (it should be) it will work.
