Things I have done to our Surveyor 220RBS

We own a 2014 Forest River Surveyor 220RBS Sport. Here are some of my mods.
We sleep with our heads at the door end of the bedroom (backwards).

Added solar controller (Morningstar) and 120 Watt panel.
Added second 12 volt battery.
Upgraded mattress to 10 inch Serta pillow top mattress.
Added 4 USB charger ports and 1 12 volt power all in a tent.
Changed all lights to LED's.
Added 12 volt TV/DVD player in bedroom.
Changed upper door swings to make room for the TV.
Added triple wall switch in bedroom for ceiling light, new ceiling fan, mod lights.
Added 2 speed fan to bedroom (Need to trim it out yet).
Upgraded fan in bathroom to a 3 speed with reverse.
Added double wall switch in bathroom for ceiling light and upgraded ceiling fan.
Added 2 outside vent covers.
Added valves to all low point water drains.
Upgrade shower head to a Oxygenics.

That all looks very nice.

I sleep with my arm above my head, and the curved wall puts my arm to sleep. I tried sleeping reverse one night, but getting my legs in and out (I'm 6'2") was difficult.

Looks great, how well would you say the 120 watt solar panel works? I'm thinking about adding a panel to charge batteries.

My system works great. The 120 watt panel keeps both of my two batteries 100% charged. When camping I do need some sun light to top off the batteries, about 3 to 4 hours each day. I would like to add two more batteries and one more 120 watt panel some day.

We have had our SP220 for 3 years now. Over 12,000 miles and loving it! Added 200 watts of solar to charge our two 6 volt batteries. We went with a homemade portable system ( two 100 watt panels that fold up for transport) so we could park the trailer in the shade, and adjust the panels for maximum sun. Works well for our needs.

Also, the only thing we didn't like about our SP220 was that you had to deploy the slide a ways to get into the bathroom. I solved the problem by making a "dutch door". The bottom half opens enough to get your legs through, and the top opens all the way. The two halves can be held together with a small bolt so that the door works normally when the slide is out. The door is hollow core so I had to add some wood fillers where the door was cut. Other than that it is a simple project and costs less than ten dollars for the hardware.
