2013 FE 292BHDS on it's way!!

So excited!! We ordered up our first ever TT last month, 2013 Freedom Express 292BHDS Liberty Edition in caramel! Got it for $23,409 otd with delivery!! Figured that was a heck of a price considering I've seen this same model for $28-30,000 at other dealers, for 2012 models! Got a real good rate with our bank so thought why not buy new and have the same payment as we would with a used (yeah it's a longer term but we hope to keep for a really long time!). We ordered it up with the quad bunks. Can't wait to try this thing out! My wife hasn't even ever looked in one yet! She trusted my decision (sure hope it was the right one!). So has anyone else ever ordered one from a dealer? How long does it usually take for one to be delivered from the manufacturer?

Yes we ordered our Flagstaff V-Lite from the factory. It took about 8 weeks for us to receive our TT. We actually did a factory tour at the plant where they make our TT. Very interesting. Especially with the anticipation of receiving the new TT. I know exactly how you feel. Another cool fact is that they build the complete TT from frame to being finished in one day. They usually build about 30 trailers in a day.

Good luck and keep us posted as to how it goes.

Welcome to the Freedom Express Club!! You will really enjoy this trailer. I have already had several nights camping in this and never second guessed my decision. You paid right around what I did which is a great deal. My trailer was already on the lot so I do not have any experience in wait times. I really believe your wife will be happy with your decision. If you have any questions about this, just ask!! Congrats and we must see some pics when you get it!

We ordered our 2012 Palomino Sabre 5th wheel on Feb 27th. Dealer said 6 - 8 weeks, pretty standard. It was at our dealer 7 weeks to the day, and actually turned out to be a 2013 model. I know the wait can seem long, especially this time of year. When your dealer calls you with the VIN # you know it won't be much longer. Another thing to consider is a camper might sit on the manufacturers lot for a couple days waiting for a transport driver to take it to your dealer.

Talked to the dealer and it's supposed to be delivered on the 19th! Yay!! Does anyone have the Liberty Edition with the quad bunks and no outside kitchen? I would like to know what the weight is. A little worried about my tow vehicle. Trailer's suppose to weight around 5600lbs?

Was delivered Saturday morning! Luv it! Heck it's better then our house! lol It's almost too fancy! Anyway, I hooked er up and took it for a test run with my 1/2 and it pulled surprisingly well! Didn't even put on bars or sway! Just means it'll pull that much better once all the bars and sway are attached! Can't wait to try er out this weekend! Kids are super excited as well!

Looks great! What are you towing it with? Should be fine with a later model half ton. I tow my 5600#'er with an F150 (it's rated at 9800lbs).

Got a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3. I think it will do OK. Not expecting to win the race with it that's for sure! lol
