2015 320BBDS Rusted frame acceptable/commonplace??

Purchased new way back in april, noticed a little surface rust I'm bumper during pdi, was told they could "fix" it for me, when I asked what they intended to do to fix it, I was told they would spray paint black over it... As the owner of a collision repair shop and having 15 years experience with how to properly repair/refinish metal I knew I was best off to handle it on my own.
My question is what have you done about the rusted frame issue? I'm sure I'm not the only one, espically so damn soon.

It will end up getting blasted and painted with an epoxy gloss black. I just wondered if FR has been of any help with this obvious lack of quality.

Looking at the rusted threaded rod in the scissor jack, I would bet that trailer was towed last winter to the dealer in the salt and not washed off.

Angry Frame Rust

Yup, ran into the same problem with our new Flaggstaff 27RWLS. It was delivered in January to Albany NY and by the spring surface rust on the frame everywhere.
Long story short, really was pissed but 300 miles away from the selling dealer I used 10 cans of Rustoleum satin black paint and painted everything I could see and not see.
So far it has maintained it's looks and if any touchup is needed it's seems to match correctly.
Lesson learned, don't order a new camper in the fall.......just sayin..

I had many travel trailers and 5ers over the years.
One thing you don't want, have a trailer transported to the dealer over the winter month, the dealer won't wash the frame, result RUST.
The first thing I do after getting a new trailer, I buy undercoating (Home Depot) and start spraying. It's messy but I know it's done right.
Every fall, spring I touch up, oil any grease all the moving parts with chain oil. I don't have any rust on the bottom of my trailer.
