2015 Apex 259bhss mice problems

Hi all, I store my apex on a farm over the winter months and I've had my run in with the dreaded mice...I've climbed in under and spray foamed every opening I can find but the little critters still managed to find their way inside. I believe they must be getting in around the dining room slide because that's the only area that looks "busy". Everything else is sealed up like fort knox! They have been traveling in under the floor as I caught them with traps under the bunk next to the water heater, they made their way under the entertainment area (in cupboard under TV), in by the water pump and also in the bathroom vanity. I just hope they haven't feasted on any wires under the floor....Any 259bhss owners out there that might have some advise on how to prevent mice? Thanks

I've been using a combination of Fresh Cab (Amazon) and Peppermint oil on cotton balls for 5 years and have not had any mice. Good luck.

We use some stuff from tractor supply. Has different spices and herbs to detour mice.

Please be careful as mice can carry the deadly Hanta Virus. You may consider wearing respirators depending on the severity of your problem. Do not vacuum any "nests" out.

All contaminated areas (areas covered in mouse urine and feces) should be saturated with a bleach solution and then removed 10 minutes later.

Good luck. We just removed all of the the insulation in our trailer's undercarriage, disinfected the area with a bleach and odoban solution and put new insulation in. Our mic were getting in via the propane heater and followed the duct work into the undercarriage area where they stayed warm in the insulation. We now have a metal screen over the heater duct inlet and screens over the heater exhaust/intake.

After bleaching, Odoban works great and the eucalyptus scent (comes in other scents too) seems to keep the mice out. We also now use Fresh Cab and peppermint oil saturated steel wool for crevices.
