Just got on a month ago. My first camper ever. Its been aw some. One question to everyone, has anyone figured out a way to get the windows to open up all the way? It would be really nice to swing the glass up and secure it somehow.

Any tips for a newbie?

You have the frameless windows? I would be afraid of it breaking once you disconnected the bottom mech just to be able to open up wide. I have had one disconnected, think there was pins and got one side out 1st then the other....

I wanted the 288 but it was to long to get up my steep Drive way. That and it doesn't sit as high as the 259 is off the ground when level.

Favyan... Not sure if you've seen the thread below, but if you want to read up on the 288BHS specifically, here's some material for your pleasure.
Nice looking ride, by the way.

KDHfan, thanks. the jeep is my buddies. I sold it to him a few months ago and he dropped the shoes on it. Very clean look. I miss having my wrangler but there is no way it would tow this camper lol. Picked up a 05 jeep GC limited with a HEMI.
