2016 Viking 16 RBD

Bought new 2016 Viking 16 RBD 3 weeks ago. Has nice 4" mattress on rear bed BUT has a cheesy 2 1/2" mattress on front bed. Poor, miserable sleeping on the metal base. Grrrr.

Thin mattress on 2016 Viking 16 RBD front bunk apparently come standard

We ended up purchasing a 3" foam mattress topper to put under the "thin" front bunk mattress that came with our new camper! We have a 4" mattress cover coming today to secure/cover the thin mattress with the new topper. We slept on it twice now and big difference! So far this is the one of 2 gripes with the camper. The other one is trying to figure out a method to "hold back" or retain the material from that front bunk when closed. Poor design in that regard! We are working on something and will post pictures when completed. If anyone has already....please let us know!
