Just purchased this trailer with the intention of going to Fairbanks Alaska from central Kentucky. Has anyone used this trailer or a similar one to travel the Alaska- Canadian Highway? I am concerned about the small margin of safety with the axle weight and tire weight ratings as well as the low ground clearance.

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. that highway can test any vehicle especially those with low ground clearance depending on the time of year you travel.

Several of us have the 17FQ model and have flipped the axle to gain more ground clearance. Doing an axle flip also gives more wheel well clearance to move up to a larger 15" tire. Go with a load range D tire for added safety.
