2017 Chaparral 336TSIK

It's been 2 years with the TT and we're thinking its time to got fifth wheel. We found a 336tsik that we really like, but I have not been able to get the numbers down to where I'm willing to sign the papers. The msrp is 58,226. What is the amount typically discounted? 10, 15, 20%? More?

The MSRP numbers don't mean too much. Most are just pulled out of thin air. That's a very nice 5er.We looked at it,but DW was in love with the front living room 370 FL.We picked ours up on Feb. 29th.You can always shop around at other dealers. We bought from a dealer 3hrs away.(second time).Don't know where you are,but look online and get some pricing.Find a better deal and get your local dealer to match. Our local wouldn't budge so he lost.Twice.

Here's a dealer we looked at up by Kansas City.$44K and change.

Thanks for the link. The price looked much better until I discovered it does not have the 15 cu ft refrigerator or the LCI auto level. Seems I have more haggling to do.

Not a problem when we looked into buying I was willing to travel anywhere if the price was really that much cheaper. And just happened that Holman started to sell Chaparral around the time we were looking and I couldn't find a cheaper price anywhere in the Us and Them.

A lot of it depends on how much competition you have in the area. When we bought, granted 5 years ago, we were shopping in November in an area (west side of Michigan) with nearly a dozen dealers. 2012 units were running consistently from make to make and dealer to dealer at around 30% off MSRP. 2011 units (left overs) were around 35%. We got ours for 42% off MSRP because it was left over, and they were getting no bites on it. I highly recommend left over units because of the added discount.
