263RLS LR Chairs and the Slide

Hello All,

We have a Surveyor, but my parents just picked up a Catalina Legacy 263RLS.

As they were looking through it, Dad figured out that the large chairs in the back living room are in the way of the slide when you want to bring it in. I suggested putting glider pads under it, sliding it onto the linoleum and then flipping it up onto the couch for storage while traveling. Of course it would need a strap.

Just wondering if anyone has come up with a better way to handle the chairs in the back, other than leaving them right in front of the rear entry doors.

Thanks for any suggestions I can pass along.

We have the same trailer, and I just slide the far chair over in front of the near chair and the door when we pull the slide in. There's enough room to get around it if I need to, but we usually don't need to unless were pushing the slide back out. Don't waste time flipping it on to the couch, it might fall off in a turn and cause some damage.
