Bought a 360IBL on January 2 2015. I'm liking all the room and storage this camper has. I have already had the main a/c unit replaced (June) and now having problems with the front bedroom a/c. Other than the a/c issues nothing else so far that are major fixes. List of mods include: steady fast stabilizer, surge guard, vent covers, added 2 tvs in the bunk room and just completed installing slide out toppers (ready to try them out).

We are really liking our 360 too! Will soon be going on a 10 day camp out in the hill country area with some other friends. Really looking forward to some cooler weather camping. Cooler as in low 90s. hahaha! Enjoy that 360 and Happy Trails to a fellow Texan!

How hard were the slide out toppers to install and about how much did they cost just bought a 371mbrb i really want them on this new one dealer wanted way to much

Not that hard. Need at least 2 people and 2 ladders. I bought mine from Americanrvcompany.com. Free shipping. This comes by freight truck so you have to be home to sign for your delivery. They should call and schedule a time frame. I was able to choose my hardware and fabric colors. I wanted the Dometic Deluxe black And 4 black hardware (purchased separately from fabric). This kit comes with new rails. Some of the rails on mine were too short (frantic hung over) so I had to remove the factory ones and install the rails that came with the fabric. The website has instructions for installing the slide outs that are easy to follow. I pre drilled ALL of my holes and used plenty of silicon caulking for the screws and brackets. The price ranges from around $200 for the smaller slides and around $500 for the larger slides. Took me about 1 1/2 hours per slide to install all 4 slide toppers. This is my first camper to have them and they are great.

Okay excellent yes I want the black also hate the white. Unfortunately do to money I will have to do one at a time luckily 4 of the 5 are smaller thank you for all the help

Okay another question how did you mount the TV about the door because mine hits were its at when I bring the slide in

I found the studs above the door and cut a piece of plywood (I painted it black) a few inches longer than the studs and mounted it to the wall. I bought a slim tv wall mount to mount onto the plywood. I had to place the tv just right to get my top cabinets to open still without hitting the tv. I think I bought a 19" tv for that room.

I really want the slide toppers. Maybe we could do just one at a time instead of buying them all at once. Our luck would be that they discontinue the pattern/fabric we install just before we get them all ordered/installed. LOL

For those that have the slide toppers, what are the biggest benefits? My old 5er did not have them and this new one didn't have them either, but I'm considering adding.

My old 5er had issues with heat in the slide due to the sun beating on the roof and there being less insulation. And then there are the leaves and other "debris" that accumulates. I'm hoping the awnings would address both. If not, it's probably not worth the $1500-$2000 to add 4 of them.

Great for clearing and preventing debree and helps add a barrier against heat. Best if you camp and stay at parks with lots of trees and things that can accumulate on your slides otherwise. Horrible if you live in a high winds area like South Texas. They will stretch, flap, tear, and be a frequent and expensive repair often. And be very noisy when windy. Many dealerships in southern Texas stopped ordering units with them because of those mentioned issues.

A friend that full times in his SportsCoach had issues with one of his that would unroll on the highway. Not fun. I didn't know if it was from too much use or a general problem with them. I mostly camp in state parks or COE CGs that typically have lots of trees. Keeping the roof clean is a plus. If they provide enough shade to help the A/C, it's even better.
