We really like the 360. Everybody who comes in it says they really like the whole floorplan and the general look of the 5er. We have so far been problem free but at our last campout, DH started having problems with getting the tank connections completely closed. Thank goodness for those little gate things! He plans to work on it as soon as the weather warms up. We may have a kink in the cords that pull them closed or have the round piece drilled from the floor to the tanks inside and blocking the ability to close (have read that happens a lot, to different brands and different models). We've been to 9 camp grounds in Texas and Oklahoma so far and I'm guessing close to 50 days. We did almost immediately replace the tires and everything else we've done have just been mods for our lifestyle.
We were so lucky to have found the Ram 3500 at a great price (brand new 2014 but because we bought it in May of 2015 we got a great deal). It has all the bells and whistles we need-tire monitoring system, tow package, but not leather seats or sunroof or any of the luxury options. It is a great all around truck and hauls the 360 great. And better than that, it STOPS the 360. On our last trip (got back Friday), we were driving along a major highway and saw the signs that said "road construction ahead". We were in the right lane of two lanes so DH slowed down a bit. Just as we crested a hill, there was the construction on the downhill side--left lane totally shut down exactly at the point where there was a very, very short merge lane into our right lane. Traffic was at a dead stop at that point. I held my breath but he got the truck and 5er stopped in plenty of time but, for me, it was a bit scary. But it handled well as did the 360.
If you decide to get it, please post your observations. I would say "And Have Fun" but think that's a given with this beauty!
