6 Point Leveling

Well.., since we got our trailer last week I've been tinkering to get it how we want it. Not a lot to do since it was pretty close to perfect for us, just vent covers and setting up storage, TV's and such. Saturday I finally went ahead and played around with the self leveling. I just pushed the button and watched. It was so much nicer than that the old trailer with the tongue jack and stabilizers. Took a short time and when it was done the trailer was rock solid. No movement at all. We have X Chocks but it didn't feel like we even needed them. We'll keep them though because I'm sure there will be that one time we need them if I were to sell them.

I'm sold. Was one of the main items I asked for.

Thanks for the review. My 5er didn't have them installed from the factory. It is the only option I was considering that this trailer didn't have. I checked online and realized I can buy the system from Lippert for a lot less than the "factory price". Now I just have to convince the DW that the $2500 is better spent on the leveling system we will use every trip vs the generator she wants (had one in the old 5er) that we might use once or twice a year.

I think it's worth every penny and if it hadn't come with the trailer as standard I would have ordered it.

Ours also has the 6 point. We also had x-chocks that we used with our previous TT. Those x-chocks made a huge difference with the TT. When I tried them on the 5th, after setting up with the 6 point, I noticed so little difference inside the 5th, that I ended up selling mine.

Glad you are enjoying your new Brookstone.

Haven't got to really enjoy it yet other than tinkering. But we are going on a little trip this weekend for systems checks... and I can fish some.

Man do I feel your pain I've tinkered and built a few shelves for the pantry and a shelving unit where the washer and dryer is supposed to go.Piddled with everything.Washed and waxed part of it on Saturday, watched it snow on it yesterday morning.Finished waxing it this afternoon.
The 6 point is the "shiznit"Never had this before either and man is it rock solid. In my driveway the angle is big enough I can walk under the overhang with about 10" to spare. We had some 45+ winds last week and it never rocked while I was working in there. Our first little trip will be in a week or so.
