I have an 05 dometic and my thermostat has 4 areas you can adjust. Cool, off, heat. Fan: Hi, Lo. Fan Mode: on, auto. Temperature set.

You can have it set to off no compressor and turn the fan on. If you set the fan on auto and set to cold, the compressor and fan will cycle on until the temperature is reached and cycles off, the fan and compressor work in sync. Now if you have it set to cold and fan "on", the compressor will cycle and the fan will be continuous
