Adding small fridge to basement storage

Hey yall.... looking to add a small dorm fridge to the basement storage area on our 360ibl.... I know I seen a post on here about doing that before, but can't for the life me me find it again.

Wondering if anyone whom has done this can give me a pic and help with how you secured it in place.

Any fridge you get will only work when connected to shore power so using it as cold storage while traveling won't work unless you load it up with ice like a cooler.

Tim... I realize the shore power restraint ... unless I add an inverter. No matter... you get it cold at home pre trip loaded with drinks and as long as it's kept closed, it will stay cold for many hours... our fridge / freezer at home will keep food cold enough thru an 8 hour power outtage, I figure the beer will be cold enough after 2 to 4 hours.

My trailer came with a second fridge already installed. I pack it with ice and use it like a cooler when not hooked up to shore power.

My trailer has one, as does my friends. They are secured with the metal banding that is typically used for duct work - comes in rolls with holes every inch or so. They just ran it through parts on the bottom of the fridge and screwed it to the countertop.

I saved the piece of Styrofoam that came in the bottom of the carton....Fridge sits on that in front storage of our 5er.Never moves!!....Wired an "AC" box marked "12 Volt Inverter" to the inverter and battery.....Use this in transit......When we arrive on site at CG I plug the cord into the 120 volt AC Box......

Wouldn't it have been easier to wire the single plug to a switch so you can just select between the inverter or shore power?

Here's a small dorm fridge I added to the front of my 360IBL. I used 2x 2x4 wood to keep it from smashing the outlet in transit (one top one bottom). I added a big inverter near the battery and ran an outlet right under the 120v outlet. This way I can power the fridge while driving or boondocking.

Occasionally I'll run the camper power cord and plug into the inverter. Obviously you'd want to disable things like the converter, fridge, ac, microwave, etc but its a good way to power outlets when boondocking.
