Any Brookstone fifth wheel owners?
I am contemplating buying a Coachmen Brookstone 310RL and wondering what other Brookstone owners have to say about quality or what to expect from ownership.

Have a 2010 345sa. Very happy with it. Bought new. Only issue was converter and had it replaced. Fit and finish very good. Still loving it

PARV,
Also looking at the 310RL. Did you pull the trigger and if so what are your thoughts?

Yes I did pull the trigger on the 310RL but have not picked it up yet. In two weeks. Plan to camp in it one night near the dealer so I can return to them if there are any issues. I'll post something afterwards.

310RL
Just got back from our first trip in our new 310RL. The hardest problem was figuring on how to use the auto landing gear level system. Other than that all went well. Pulled like a dream with a RAM 2500 4x4 hemi. 9 MPG which I figure is fair. Turning in the gas station was not bad. The unit handled the pot holes well going down the highway. We are happy with the purchase.

My wife and I picked up our 310RL two weeks ago and drove it home, 3 hour drive. With my F350 diesel, sometimes didn't know it was back there and got 13 mpg. The only issue we have with the unit is the shower base. Needs more support. Also, the factory forgot to install the access hole in the docking station but the dealer took care of that during the PDI. Also, the Lippert Solid Steps do not have the hydraulic lift assist and they can be heavy to pull down or store. Otherwise, so far liking the 310RL very much.

So far so good. No real issues to worry about. Tows very easily behind my F350 diesel.

Saw your post awhile back, but figured as ours is a 2011, my input wouldn't help much as there are so many years difference. Things can change a lot.
Is yours a 2019 or a 2020?
Glad you are liking yours. It looks like a nice combo. Enjoy.

We don't have a Brookstone but we do have a 2017 Coachmen Chaparral 392mbl which is made in the same plant side by side with the Brookstones. We love ours. No issues, just minor lessons in coming to know the camper. Sitting right outside of it right now! Happy Memorial Day.

Sorry for the late reply. Our 310RL is a 2019.

We just picked up the 2020 310RL last Friday. We are excited about our new camper. So we scheduled a shakedown cruise next week. Waiting on a new King Mattress and the completion of the quick connect for propane on the undercarriage. We thought it had one, and when I called the dealer about it, they said it had one, but it does not. Apparently, it is a problem installing one since it has insulation on the undercarriage. I need to grill outside!

We got a 2020 344FL which is very similar to the 310RL. Our quick connect is in the rear right corner of the rig. Also the lines run under the body and along the frame. Its not inside the underbody. They do that so if there is a leak it will not fill up the sealed underbody. So, I guess what I'm saying is, it shouldn't be very difficult to install one.
FYI we love ours. No issues thus far.

Just picked this one up
I have my 310RL in for service right now and the dealer found that the bracket for the slide topper on the kitchen slideout is coming out because there is no backing on it. So we wait for FR to reply on their recommendation. On another note, I find that the exterior door to the convenience center lacks a locking mechanism which is a real pain when using autolevel or just getting in the bay for something with the wind blowing around. I had them install a latch there to keep it open.

Good to know. I will check out the bracket on the slide. I had same issue with the water compartment door and installed a "stay there" latch.

Hey can you guys post pics of your water compartment door latches? I just used a shoe string to keep the door from opening beyond 90deg in the wind.

Latch on convenience center door
Our dealer came up with this solution. He said $50 but never really charged me for it.
