Anyone add a slideout cover to a Freedom Express

Has anyone added or have a dealer installed slideout cover on a freedom express ( pref 248RBS). I would like to add one to ours, but not sure if there is enough room.

I wanted to on my dinette slide but my dealer said they would have to add reinforcement plates on the inside wall and since there aren't any cabinets, to hide them, on that wall I declined. They said the springs were too strong.

Yes, I added a slide topper to my FE 292BHDS. The slide contains the sofa and U-shaped dinette. Seems fine. Works well. Is a little noisy in windy conditions.

I added one to my 292bhds as well. Dealer put in on when I bought the trl, like Loraura the only issue is wind noise.

We installed two on our 297 RLDS. One for the sofa-dinette slide and one for the BR slide

We added slide toppers to all three of our slides on our coachman liberty express, love them

We had the Dealer install one on our 248RBS. No problems at all.

I will add this LPT: If it has been raining, don't stand near the slideout while your spouse pulls the slide in. YOU WILL GET DRENCHED!

We added them to our 310BHDS. Only downside was loosing the skylight. Over top of all slides.

We had the area covered by the skylight cut out and clear vinyl stitched in place looks and works great.
