Black Tank Flush / 2 Black Tanks

Longtime lurker, first time caller….I will post a more appropriate introduction a bit later, but have a question relating to the black tank flush system on our unit.

We just purchased a 2014 Brookstone 340LS. It has 2 black tanks with 2 black dump valves (along with 2 gray tanks and respective dump valves). This unit is equipped with a blank tank flush system. My question is, when you use the black tank flush, does it automatically “flush” both black tanks? Thus requiring dumping each black tank at the same time? Or is there a way to select what black tank the system will flush?

I have reached out to Coachmen, but no response yet, just thought I would “introduce” myself and glean what knowledge is available from this forum.

Thanks.

It's likely only hooked up to 1 of the black tanks - the one for the front bathroom. The rear bathroom likely doesn't have one. There was talk on a Sabre thread that there are RVIA code/restrictions to installing one on the rear toilet.

I had an aftermarket one installed on my 1/2 bath. Sadly, for the $125 install on a $30 part- I'm wishing I had just done the work myself.

My 2010 Flagstaff 8528BHHS has two black tanks. The rear does not have a flush/dump connection to it. It is nearly impossible to flush unless you are at a full service campsite. Additionally, with a galley tank and a grey water tank, I have to rig a manifold system to do a one time connect/flush at a full service campsite. Or your stuck with moving the hose around a lot.
