Bunk ladder (360IBL)

Got on the ladder in my bare feet for the first time this weekend. OUCH that was painful. The rungs are designed for the ladder to be used straight vertically while the ladder mounting h/w is designed for a 45deg(ish) slant. Result is a the corner of a metal rung digging in your feet.

I see ladders on Amazon designed for the rungs to be flat when the ladder is at 45deg (ish). $60. That would be cheaper than making wood overlays for each rung to change the angle.

Any of you experience this with your setups? How did you remedy?

Bunk ladder (360IBL)

I bought a bunk bed ladder from Amazon. Itís a wider step that is flat at an angle.

My father-in-law made one for his trailer for a fraction of the cost.

Well worth the upgrade!

Yeah the factory ladder is painful. We don't use it since my son is able to get up there without a ladder.

Figured out the ladder was at the wrong angle. The dealer had over-the-bunk hooks on the ladder connected to the vertical surface mounted clips. This put the ladder base too far from the bed. Removed the clips to force users to hook it over the bunk frame.
