ID:	64946. Our spot this weekend at the Gaffney, SC KOA. Less than half full. Quiet and peaceful.

That is the best way to camp. Nice and quiet.

Albert Sleeper State Park last fall. There were 3 other campers in the whole park.

Why Gaffney? Y'all live close to there?
We're headed to Twin Lake at Hartwell Halloween weekend. Right now looks like the extended forecast shows great weather.... hoping it holds.

53jimc, were're across the state line in North Carolina. DW and I were looking for a quiet weekend without grandkids. We're all going to Kings Mountain State Park, in Blacksburg,SC, next weekend for Halloween.

Less than five miles from Hartwell here. 10-15 minutes from Twin Lakes. Nice little campground. Never taken the TT there, but it was a frequent stop with our popup.

Considered a trip there over my wedding anniversary in November. Not sure if they still close seasonally.

Last time we were there one of the campers said they had a section that stayed open all year. I'll ask them when I get there on the 30th.
