We have never used the fire place, only turning it on for just a few minutes to show someone how it works and will have DH go under and check out the slide the next time we are out.

Here is a picture of the under side of the slide(Refrig, stove entertainment center).

Nice pin box, you'll like the JT strongarms and that stained glass window is very nice. I hate to hear that the repair on the windows didn't work and that you even have new leaks . It rained so hard on our first outing but we didn't notice any leaking but then we weren't looking for it. Second outing we had rain and hail the first night but I never looked around the windows for possible leaking. Now I'm HOPING it rains on our next outing so that I can check the windows. DH will definitely be crawling under the slide to see if ours has any bad rubbing on it. As for the island, I'm hoping it will be ok but DH said when he retires in September, he'll have time to look at it in depth and see if we need to take it back to the dealership. Man, I'll hate having to do that.

Buskirk21921, can you tell me a little more what the dealer did to fix this issue? I've noticed our slide doing the same. Our dealer is about 4 hours away so I'd like to try and remedy this myself

The factory supposedlyfixed the issue at the FROG Rally. They indicated that it was a guide(control) arm. I am not sure what that is as I was not there at the time they fixed it. We will see in the next few trips if in fact they did fix it.

Just curious.. why the change of the pinbox? Pros of this one over the factory one?

Ditto on blwnsmoke's question. Also what is the model number on the pin box?

To reduce chucking. I am attaching the MORERYDE YouTube. I have noticed a big difference. Lippert makes products too but they are expensive and there are questions as to whether they work that well.

Thank you. Did you notice the difference? It's about $600 on Amazon. Worth that much?

I paid $750 installed at the Goshen FROG rally and worth every penny.

The Saga Continues

Today I took my Coachmen to the dealer in Delaware(Delmarva RV) for leaking windows(3 of them) under warranty and the fading front cap. When I got there they said that they were tired of being the middle man(between Coachmen and the body shop that they use) so I was informed that I would have to contact Coachmen and contract directly with the body shop. Mind you that the dealer is 1 1/2 hours away from my house and the body shop they recommend would be 2 hours away from my house. What a runaround. Sorry I purchased this Chaparral and should have kept my Rockwood TT(very few problems).
