Chaparral 360IBL Water Heater Bypass Location?

Pop-quiz: Where are the water heater bypass valves in my 2016 Coachmen Chaparral 360IBL?
Thanks!

he he... those sneaky little bastards tricked me on this one too and left my water heater in by pass when I bought it.

on the left side of the camper, open up the basement pass-thru storage door. You will see your connections / valves on the right hand side. The bypass is directly behind this white connection panel. You need to remove 4 screws (i think it was) to take down the carpeted panel that runs on an angle behind the connection panel. Once its down you will see the 3 bypass valves for the water heater.

Wow, I never would have guessed this. Thank you!

I'm curious if this is documented anywhere.

Yes it is.. on this forum.

In regards to officially, of course not. That would be too much work for FR to talk about this with each model they make.

I hated taking them screws out to access the valves. I bought a small cupboard door, same color as interior (if it matters) i then cut a hole in that barrier wall. Carefulky secured the rug on the wall so it didnt tear away. Mounted the cupboard door so it flips up. That way i can access the valves easily

Let me know if this works for you. I put 3 access points in just like the one in the pic. So I can access my inverter that I installed and whatnot.

Pics have turned on their side, not sure how to fix. Just tilt your head to the left.

Nice little access door. My bypass is the same place on my 390QSMB. And it was bypassed when I bought it too.
