Chaparral flush tank valve problems

I have a 2013 39' Chaparral that is still under warranty but I'm all settled in for winter at the campground I'm at and not really wanting to haul it to the dealer. One of my Grey tank dump valves broke and is no longer opening or closing. The guy at the dealership said it's an all day repair with lots of time to tear things apart etc. Has ANYONE had this problem except me and if so is it a hard fix?? Mine are the cable type. I was considering installing the automatic ones you can dump from inside which is very appealing to me lol. Thanks in advance!
