Cheap window blind replacement

First thing, why did they only install the pull down style shades in the slide out room?? With that said, the kids keep beating the snot out of those cheap blinds they put in the bunk area. I am looking to replace them with something like the pull down style that are in the slide room. Just wondering what would be the best option, take measurements and go to the local HD store? Do the shades need to be RV specific? Let me know if anyone has changed out their blinds for something better.

I have the same issue with mine as well. Not sure how I will retrofit them. Hoping someone has come up with a good solution.

This is what I did:

I used command strips to hook the brackets to the wall Turned out well! I did all of the bunk area windows! Cost $10 including brackets a piece at Lowes.

Blind Replacement

I actually called our dealer to order a couple more blinds that were bent in our camper too and they told me to just take them off and bring them to Menards and have them cut new ones to the same size. They told me it was much cheaper then ordering from the dealer to replace them. I too want to get ride of the blinds because they bend so bad!

Got mine at Lowes. They are Levelor...and can be cut width-wise to size. And very inexpensive. Very similar to day/night shades.
