Coachmen Apex Nano 191RBS Slide Out
I have owned several travel trailers with slide outs all having a manual over ride by means if a crank or socket wrench. We have the Apex on order and the dealer told us that it had neither. In the event of failure, we are to call a toll free number for assistance. Have any of you ever had of this or are familiar with what the dealer told us?

You have to disengage the two motors on my apex, then you can push the slide by hand.

How is this done? Just asking as I'm sure others would like to know.

Thanks for the vid. I'll have to save this, hopefully I won't need it.

Here are a number of Schwintek documents. Suggest your print them out and put'em in a book with all the rest of your manuals. That's what I've done.
You might want to do some sleuthing to find the controller BEFORE you have any issue. It's often behind a panel that may look like a door, but will be screwed shut. Mine's behind this panel on the left. It has 2 hinges on the right side and one hinge on the left side. You have to unscrew the hinge on the left side and swing it open, and there's the controller. You may need to look around inside anything you open, too. Another guy with my same model TT opened the panel on the left and found his controller was behind the panel on the right. But he can only get to it from the panel on the left!

Thanks for those rockfordroo. I was going to ask where the controller was located. Looks like I'll have to do some searching

My slide is the kitchen/wardrobe, and the pic I gave you is below the wardrobe. In other words, the controller is actually IN the slide. I see by your floor plan that the your slide is the dinette, so your controller may be under one of the benches. If so, it should be easy to get to.
Good hunting!

Today I talked with my salesperson from the Coachmen Apex dealer who told me that the reason these control boxes are hidden is because they are not intended for consumer use. Unless the consumer is using the control under the direction of a technician, the warranty will be voided. That doesn't make any sense to me because these instructions are in the Lippert Owners Slide Manual. But that's what he said. Has anyone else been told the same or aware of what I was told?
