Coachmen Freedom Express Wheel Lube?

We have a 2014 Coachman Freedom Express 192RBS. Bought last Feb 2014 and have had it on 4 short trips. We want to make sure to keep the lube up in the hubs.

We used to have a boat and a pop up and both had those bearing buddies. This new TT dont. So looking to get those to add on. Have a few questions.

There is a silver cone over the hub with a cap. I can get the cap off and see the hub in side. But does the cone come off as well so we can try and see what size the inside hubs are. And do we put the cone back on after putting the grease fittings on?

Thanks,
Sharon

You will need to remove the wheel, dust cap, spindle nut and the hub to repack the bearings by hand.

You will need to replace the four inner seals after you remove the old seals to clean and repack the inner bearings.

The YouTube videos will help.

A couple of pictures would be good.

Never used them but aren't they designed to keep constant pressure in the hub and on the rear seal to keep water out? Wouldn't the same pressure push grease past the seal and into the brake assembly? I believe I would hand pack.

Well we never had issues using them before on the boat or pop up but neither of those had trailer brakes. So after discussing this with hubby, we will just pull the wheels off and repack to be safe.
