Coachmen 29SE

Just purchased a 2014 freedom express 29SE. Anyone have any thoughts on this model? It's a bit stripped down but seems like it will be a good fit for our camping needs...

ID:	45402 The kids are excited. No frills like the liberty edition (which we loved) but a bit more affordable for a family of 5. Was told it's the same construction without the frills- hope they were truthful.

Congrats on your new purchase. The freedom express does have the same basic construction but lacks the upgrades in material and fabrics. Enjoy

1atalbot, did you purchase your trailer from colerain in cinn Ohio.?. We purchased ours at Colerain in Delaware Ohio. Near Columbus. Great people to deal and work with. We had some service work done under warranty and they kept us informed on the parts they ordered and how long it would be till they arrived. It helped out a lot so we could schedule a time to bring it in for repairs, because we live 4 hours away from the dealership. Sorry getting off track.

We purchased the 29se, a lot less $ but knowing we got a lot less amenities. We are content with what it will do for our camping needs. Just hoping its a long lasting coach...

Actually I was about to give them a deposit and make 7-8 hour drive from Jersey when I found a dealer about two hours away in Delaware (Delmarva RV) that agree to charge me $500.00 over Colerain's quote. We also wanted to work with the Mid-Atlantic Coachmen representative. As we had ours built without the fireplace and the Mid-West rep said no changes. The factory was great to work with, they did a few little things for us like add a cable outlet in the outdoor kitchen.

I think Coachmen did an amazing promotion on gaining market share by offering fixed or no haggle pricing on the 292's at $19,900.00 you will be very happy with the rig! However when it comes to pricing Liberty Edition, dealers are everywhere from 23k to 39k and after buying 1/2 dozen trailers over the years and this trailer was by far the hardest to shop for a deal on! I guess when you have a top seller product you can demand the $$$$. And my hats off to all Coachmen employees as the plant was days from closure when Forest River purchased them and in less then 4 years they have an amazing product!!!
