We will be heading out on Friday, and arriving on Sunday. On the return trip back we plan on stopping at the Henry Ford Museum. This will be the first Coachmen rally but we have done the FROG rally three times.

We are trying to firm up our travel plans from Houston. We went to the International FROG rally in 2013 when we had our Cherokee TT. We bought our Coachmen Brookstone 5th wheel last August and this will be our first Coachmen Rally. I am the co-hostess of the Texas FROG rally and this year will be our 4th annual rally. We had 60+ rigs our first year (expecting maybe 25) and have a waiting list every year.

We used the Good Sam Trip Planner to chart our course to Mackinaw, similar route to Goshen. We have a wedding to attend in McKeesport, PA after the rally. My husband went to school at Penn State and he has not been back since he graduated so we are headed that direction after the wedding.

Hope to see you in Mackinaw!

Yes, will be arriving on sunday. After the rally we will be heading across the bridge up to marquette and pictured rocks national lakeshore. This will be our 5th coachmen rally. May I make a suggestion for those heading up. Branch off I-75 and travel US-23 from Standish to Mackinaw City. A beautiful drive along the coast of Lake huron. And it goes right by the campground. It's about twice the distance as 75 but I think the view is worth it. I'm bias though as I live here and traveled it many times.

Yes, we are first timers, who are excited about the Rally. We are leaving Nebraska and going north through Wisconsin Upper Peninsula, and then south to Campground.
Need advice on what to check on 2016 Catalina 243 RBS before this long journey
Thanks
Vallgrl

Tires, tires, tires. Correct air pressure, cracks, etc. Other than that, drive safe and enjoy the drive. The drive thru the UP along the Lake Michigan shoreline is a beautiful drive. If you have the time make a stop at kitch-iti-kipi (big spring) east of Escanaba a ways. Check it out on youtube, awesome stop.

Just waiting to head over to the rally. Spent the night at the local KOA in Mackinaw last night. Listening to the rain this morning. Yesterday the new Kwikee power steps installed at the FROG rally in August quit working.

That's us. In row 4 I believe. Did not have much stuff Coachmen related to put out. Have enjoyed the area and the rally. Just listening to the rain this morning.

We are by the rally building. As you walk away you will see 2 signs at the split in the road that say road 11, road 12. We're behind the sign. Safe travels on your way home.
