Coachmen Chaparral 360IBL Weight

Well I finally got a chance to weigh the rig yesterday on the way home from our trip... this was a short trip, so we were not packed heavy and as we were on the way home, we had eaten most of the food....

I hope these numbers help someone down the road looking a similar 5er.

Truck empty: full of fuel, hitch in
Front axle: 5,200
Rear axle empty:3,740
Total truck: 8,940

Weight of family members (DW, mother in law, and 2 boys) 550 lbs

Total truck weight w/ family: 9,490

Cat scale results with trailer:
Steer axle: 5,420
Rear axle: 6,420
Trailer axles: 10,200
Total weight: 22,040

If my math works right:
Pin weight is: 2,350
Trailer weight is 12,550

As it works out then my pin weight is only 18%.... and I have a lot of stuff in the front bedroom and basement.

We haven't weighed yet as we haven't been doing much traveling since March..stable workamping. I'm afraid when we do weigh, me and my scrapbook supplies will be like Lucy and her rocks in "The Long Long Trailer"

Your weights are with in about 150# of our 370FL.We were loaded for a two week trip when I weighed it.I was surprised too.
I thought the DW had packed everything for a two month trip. These things aren't as heavy as some of the Big Horns or Montanas.

My weights
(2012 F350 6.7 SB SRW)

Hitched with 40 gal aux tank in bed (full). B&W Companion non sliding. + Family

Front Axle: 4860
Rear Axle: 6120
Truck: 10980

Pin Weight: 2000
Camper Axle Weight: 10700
Camper total Weight: 12700

This camper really rides well. Minimal chucking - balancing the cargo matters.

Thanks for the report. The pin weight was more than I was expecting.

Jorn.... pin weight can increase fast on this model... basically we end up packing most everything in the front to bedroom as you can't get to the rear of the trailer with the slides in
