Coachmen Chaparral Microwave

we have a 2019 Coachman Chapprell fifth wheel 2019 392 mbl it has a full size hot point microwave . i want to change it to a convention microwave .has any one changed theres out .problem is hubby isnt very handy.

no problem. Even he can do it. It hangs by 2 screws from the top cabinent and a wall plate in the back. Might need a hand to lift it out. The existing micro is plugged in above or next to it in a cabinet. The new one will need a 20 amp circuit which I don't know it you have.

we have a 50 amp fifth wheel . how do i know if i have or need a 20 amp circuit. i still want to install a convection mircowave

Find the circuit breaker that controls the microwave. The easiest way is to plug the fifth wheel into power. One by one, turn off breakers until the microwave goes off. Then read the little number on the breaker handle. It'll either be a 15 or a 20.
