Just placed our order for a 2014 292 liberty with the 50th anniversary package. Has anyone used a generator when hookups are not available? I have a 3500 watt gen. and plan on using it sometimes so I hope it has enough power to use A/C. This thread has been very helpful.

Depends on your AC unit and how many amps it pulls.

I bought a 5500 just to be sure and I can use it here at home when the power goes out.

It might but will depend on the initial pull of the AC unit. You won't have the juice to run the AC and microwave at the same time though.

Thanks for the answers. I hope it will work fine. I did just talk to my dealer and found out i will be getting the Premium Package ( fire place and new ceiling) for free. He was at the dealer show to order it and because he ordered enough units this package was the volume bonus incentive.

Nice to see all these Armada's towing the 292BHDS effortlessly, as I just placed a factory order for a 292 w/the Liberty Edition & 50th Anniversary Pkg. I had the factory delete the Fireplace though! So far they have great to deal with!

And yes, another Armada rice burner guy joining the club!

Everyone thinks the fireplace is just a silly frill...until you use it. Then you realize what a great space heater it is. Put it back!

I know, it was a hard decision. However, our stash of wine & bourbon won in the end. Knowing the factory they probably will forget to read the build order and miss the comment to delete.

I recently purchased a 310BHDS Liberty express and we love the room and all the different options they have that no other unit out there has. The fireplace is great on the cold nights. Once the furnace heats everything up the fireplace heater maintains the temp perfectly. It is also remote control!!!. It is a must have.... I had a lot of little Issues but they are being taken care of ; however the grease on the brakes is still continuing. At dealership now for the 3rd time.

I am hoping that knowing the owner of the dealership I might get lucky and get one that has been looked over well before I get it. I am ready for April so I can pick it up. Going to take a long weekend trip it brake it in.
