First long trip

This is my first time I have been able to go out for just a weekend and first time I drove for any distance. I drove from Ft Bragg NC to Savannah Ga and it was a nice drive the TT towed very nice no problems with tractors pushing us to the side when they passed by. I have learned I will be replacing the mattress I have slept on more comfortable ground then that thing LOL. I also have learned do not trust the sensors for tank levels
from what I read and experienced, is there anything out there that gives true readings or do I just need to learn? Other then that its been great being out here at Skidaway Island hopefully the storm doesn't bring to much rain for the rest of my stay.

This is how I solved (and I do mean solved) my erratic tank indications.

Thanks for the link saved me some time to search for something looks easy enough to replace I guess the hard part will be how to get the cover on the bottom off with out tearing it up.

I had been looking at foam toppers but wasnt sure if they would work. There is a mattres factory close to home and they make rv mattres and the price isnt to bad might go that route..

We found the mattress pretty firm as well. But I would rather have too firm than too soft.

We bought 3 1" mattress toppers from WalMart and that have helped allot in softening it up. Hopefully more use will help soften it up a bit more. The 3 1" toppers we got where allot cheaper than 1 3" topper and are more comfortable at half the price.

We too found the mattress to be too firm. Also seems to be about 2" too short for me. Has anyone attempted to put an actually queen mattress in it's place? Would it fit?
