Forest River 2nd Year Optional Warranty

Has anyone had any luck with getting this for their Coachmen? I read a lot about it on the boards. After doing a lot of research, I found this in the owners manual:
http://coachmenrv.com/OwnersManuals/13962109.pdf

It states this under section 1 #4 in dealer responsibilities on page 6:

"Be sure you understand the Optional 2nd Year ProtectionPlan offered by Forest River."

that must be something new cause I remember posting about this and was told they didnt offer it on the Coachman line unless it is refering to the Coachnet road side assistance in which after the first year then send you paperwork to renew it.

I know when I bought my Rockwood the 2nd year warranty had to be purchased within 10 days of taking delivery - this may have changed - hopefully someone who has purchased a Coachman recently will chime in with some good solid info - if not a call to the factory for clarification would work too

never heard it called "Protection Plan" but i think it's worth calling FR's warranty dept.

Well, it was a no go. I tried talking to both Coachmen and Forest River. None of them could explain the entry in the owners manual. All well!
