Frameless dark tint windows

I'm in the market for an Apex 288BHS and am going to look at some Apexes next week (unfortunately there aren't any 288BHS's anywhere near me that I can find). I'm not sure if the Apex units on the lot will have this upgrade so I wanted to ask since I can't find any information online.

How do these windows open? How much air circulation do you get with them compared to the standard windows when they're open?

You'll get varying opinions on frameless windows as this has been discussed previously.

Some say you don't get as much air flow.

For me, because the windows crank open from the bottom and thus being able to leave the windows open during rain, it outweighs any positives of the sliding windows. Also, there are mods to make them open further if one so desires.

If I open several windows and turn on the MaxxAir fan(s), (with cover(s)) I get plenty of circulation no matter the weather.

I second 5picker, being able to have air circulating when it's raining is a plus. Plus less maintenance.

One of the other things I like about them is they are easy to clean the outside glass.

I agree with the other posts. Easy to clean, can be left open when raining and get great cross-flow on air by turning on MaxxAir fan. I like the frameless windows a whole lot better than the sliding windows.

Ok, no one mentioned this, but important to some of us... These windows are easier on the finger nails. Seriously hate trying to pry open the siding windows!
