AFAIK, there is no option for a SS sink. I just reviewed my order form.

Today I finally installed the bed lift cylinders. Purchased at CW for $42. Pretty easy to install and fixes the problem that Forest River overlooked. They work great.

Just did the same thing. So happy that I don't have to balance the plywood on my head while loading or unloading the compartment anymore!

Next on the list is to add a light in the storage compartment under the bunks. Very dark in there when trying to find something at night. After that a shelf in the cabinet over the sink. Then I think I am done.

That's a great idea about the bunk storage. It needs some lighting in there. Are you going with a battery-powered or a wired lighting option??

Does your 282 have the new 80x60 queen bed or the 74x60 camper queen? Do you know which # kit from CW you used? I know CW sells several different length/size kits based on how big the storage opening is. Just wanted to make sure I got the correct kit for mine. I have a 292BHDS LE on order now and this is the first thing I told my wife I wanted to do when it arrived.

Thanks for any assistance!

I had my dealer put them on both my trailers. Both were done incorrect. Just a nuisance because I had to return it for repair. One time it was set to strong and wouldn't close, the other time there was so much resistance it was harder to open with them then without.

Mine has the full size queen. I sourced the parts from Amazon and used 75# struts on each side. Works like a charm and more than strong enough to lift the stock mattress. Not too powerful for the size of the compartment door. I also added some knobs at each corner to make dropping the lid a bit easier. I will send some pics when I can get out to the trailer.

Thank you very much! Looking forward to seeing the pics.
