Freedom Express 292BHD Level

I had a question about leveling my trailer. Stickers and the manual say level and set stabilizers before slide out. I follow that but find that after the slide out is out it is not level anymore?

Are there any suggestions or anything I am missing?

Thanks

No, you are on the right track ~~ the reason to level 1st is to keep the slides on track.

Try leveling your trailer, then add 1 or 2" of shim blocks under the slide out side of the trailer, then slide out.....you should be good!

I added a bubble level to the front of my trailer. I also level just so the trailer is leaning slightly to the left. Then when the slide goes out it levels the trailer. Then I drop the stabilizer jacks.

X2

I usually leave the slide out side an inch high. Then when slides come out. Pretty darn near level.

I level up then I always add about 4 to 6 inches under the tires on the slide out side before pulling slides out. This lets the springs sag and I'm almost always level. It works for me but others tell me that's not right.

Ok if your supposed to level before you deploy your slide outs and you have one side higher (the slide out side) to make level when your slides are out then your not really level side to side then are you? In other words your un level by an inch or more on one side to make level when you put the slide outs out. Defeats the purpose of being level before your slide outs get deployed I think right? What am I missing here?

Level your trailer, lower the stabilizers and open your slides. If your trailer needs additional leveling afterwards, raise your stabilizers just enough so you can add additional leveling blocks then lower them again.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will follow that next weekend. That's what I was thinking but wanted to see if I was on the right track or not.
