Freedom Express - Mouse got in

A mouse got in my new Freedom Express 292BHDS. Has anyone else had mice get in? Do you know where they are getting in? I found it under the dinette seat closest to the couch.

I need to go seal it up from underneath but if anyone else has done this and could tell where they are getting in, I'll be sure to look there!

You are looking for any hole that could be as small as a quarter, you can use a wad of aluminum foil or expanding foam.

We crawled around underneath and didn't really see any entry points. I was impressed thT all the plumbing and other entry points were already filed in.

We wonder now if we picked the mouse up while camping with the slide out.

A mouse got into our 292 over the winter. Not sure but I think it go in through where the plumbing comes in through the floor. Had poop and pee all over the place. Pretty sure there was more than one. It happened previous year as well, got in and chewed up one of camping chairs.

Well a single mouse was discovered on 6/21, some chewing on the inside of the dinette seat, no other evidence. We checked all underneath the unit and found very little to fill in. Haven't seen any evidence of another mouse since.

I'm going to guess we picked this mouse up on the camping trip we took prior to the 6/21 trip while the slide was out and we were camped next to a wooded area with the campground dumpsters on the far end of those woods (50 yards away).

My theory is that the mouse got in while the slide was open and starved/died of thirst while trapped in the dinette.

Crossing my fingers! Time will tell.

We have a 336TSIK, it's four months old and I have caught two mice already. I still can't find where they are getting in. I now leave a "Rat Zapper with Rat Tail" in the basement near the water heater. We do live in a rural area so I keep one in our older smaller trailer, garage, chicken house and 5er!
