Freedom Express Question re; Power to Microwave

Hi Folks... I have a 2017 FE 246rks and when we opened it up this spring everything was fine except for the Microwave. There is no power to it. Everything else has power and I cant seem to find the fuse that goes to the Microwave. All the fuses are marked and none say Microwave. It is a Furion Microwave... Any thoughts? Thank you.

The microwave is 120VAC and is protected by a breaker. Fuses are used to protect the 12VDC portion of your system. Check the breakers by turning them off than back on. The microwave is also plugged into an outlet. You may have to remove a panel or drawer to access the outlet.

The Microwave is not on a fuse, It is on a 120 volt circuit breaker. Fuses are for 12 volts. The micro wave may be on the GFI circuit which starts in the bathroom. Reset the bathroom GFI outlet and see if the micro wave comes on. If not check the 15/20 amp circuit breakers. Turn them off then back on. Don't just look at them.

As others have said, microwave is 120v AC and like your home microwave, is on a breaker.
After you resolve this, suggest that you Google "the 12 Volt Side of Life", so you learn how the two different electrical systems work in your RV.

there have been a few posts recently about microwaves not working. the issue is there is a switch or automatic relay installed that switches power between the microwave and some other device, typically a fireplace. i don't know your model and i don't know if this is applicable or not but it might be something to look at.

Just to make sure, you are plugged into some form of 120 volt AC power?

FE 246RKS does not have a fireplace, so that is not the issue. Here is a photo of my 2015 FE 256RKS fuse/breaker panel with the factory markings. Microwave is the next to the bottom breaker (bottom half of a double 15amp breaker).

Since you have the same trailer, just a 2017 model, I would presume yours is the same. I would flip the breaker to off and then back on, even if it looks like it's not tripped. I've seen other breakers trip but no move the lever fully to the mid position like you would expect.

Check and reset all GFCI breakers as well. My Microwave outlet was tied to GFCI in the bathroom rather than the one in kitchen area.
