Freedom Express Warping Interior

We have a 1 month old 2018 Freedom Express 246rks. All of the interior walls are warping and opening up holes between the wallboard panels. The dealer says that they will have to completely gut and rebuild the inside of the trailer. There is no sign of moisture, the problem seems to be an inferior wallboard material. Has anyone else seen this?

Hello lindenpa,

I own the same TT same year. Do you have photos of the walls show this warping? I've noticed the wall paper has some wrinkles like bubbles more to the edge of the wall. Interested to find what it looks in yours.
thank you!

I'd have it sent back to the factory.

If you quote someone, or go to Advanced (post), scroll to Additional Options below the Submit Post button, you'll see an option that says Attach Files. Click on that, it will bring up a window where you can add attachments. After you have selected your photos, click upload, they will now be in your message menu. You can leave them as thumbnails, or click the Paper Clip at the top of the message window, your attachments will be there, you can load them into the message by just clicking on them.

Hope that helps!

Just my opinion: I have a '15 FR Coachmen Freedom Express 310BHDS. I believe that the walls are built the same way for yours and mine, they are made by laying the fiberglass wall down, placing the aluminum frame on the wall gluing to the wall, then the insulation is used to fill in the spaces between the aluminum tubing. Last is the composite interior wall which is the thin plywood panel glued to styrofoam which is glued to the interior wall panel. IF a dealer tells me that they will have to gut the interior wall panels to replace them on a one month old 2018 TT I don't believe that I would go for that. I do believe that I would have to contact the factory for a replacement TT. Paying a lawyer for advice would be worth it in this case.
