fresh water tank

Just purchased a Coachman Freedom Express 322 RLDS and have several more questions as some of them have already been answered on here and I thank you for that. I am learning more on here than I did at the walk thru. My trailer has a city water hook up and a place to fill the fresh water tank as I guess most do. My question is when on city water does the fresh water tank fill. If so I would want to drain it before leaving the park to get rid of the extra weight. Thanks again as I can see this will be a long learning curve but you folks are helping. twosocks

Your city water hook up should not fill your FW tank, if it does you have a problem. Do not run your pump when hook-ed to city water it's pressurized already just like at home.

If you haven't already, I'd suggest a water pressure regulator on your city water hose... Just a few bucks at Walmart or Amazon.
