Front Cap LED lights

Hello,

I just purchased an Apex 259bhss and it has the front cap leds.
There seems to be no switch for them to turn on.
Plus they didn't turn on when I plugged the trailer to the truck for towing using the high or low beams.
The question is, how do these lights turn on?
The sales person told me that I have to put a jumper wire in the trailer plug and they come on. These lights are for when you are driving only he said????
I have to connect a jumper on the plug in?seems odd.

If there is any ideas on how to turn these lights on, that would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I will have to take a look once I go to move all my gear into it. I have it in storage and the guys had no idea at the place when they were adjusting the hitch hight.
I can't remember seeing another switch inside the front storage other than the storage light compartment.
I will have to wait and see.
Thanks again.

Why would the lights be meant for traveling? I figured they were more less for decoration or to see the hitch while dark out side.

Cap Lights

I also can't figure mine out. I'm pretty sure I've tried every switch and can find be. I believe that mine came on when I first bought my FR 5th Cedar Creek 38FL. I've tried all the switches on control panel and inside the basement. Where my water hookup area there is a cap light rocker switch. They don't come on at all.
Maybe a lost connection and I don't have a clue where to start tracking wires
I'm a bit confused. I would like to use them. I am a full timer and they could light up my driveway when we go out at night.....

Thanks..........

Hey. I have the same trailer...
The switch is in the passenger side front storage cubby.
They are not meant for driving- way too bright in your mirrors. Just make a nice homing beacon for the late night stumbles back from the toilet!!
Happy camping and enjoy!!

Dang, I wish I was out in the trailer!!
