Full size queen in Aprx 288bhs?

Does anyone have a full size queen mattress in their Apex 288bhs? Just wondering if or how well it fits. Thanks

We looked at this model before we bought our current trailer. When I measured it, I think you would have to take the sliding doors off. I believe others have done it on older models before the sliding doors.

Apex bed

Just measured mine. It is 76 inches from the back wall to the sliding doors. We were not fans of the mattress either. We stacked two decent foam toppers and now it is pretty good. We did not trim them so they rub on the sliders a little but everything still functions properly

The mattress that came in mine with is horrible, we put a 2" memory foam topper and a padded mattress pad on. Its a lot better but still a little uncomfortable. I think I'm going to buy a good mattress and maybe cut a few pieces of foam to put in between the wall and the mattress.

We had a 2 inch from our last camper and added a 4 inch from Walmart on top and it is good now.

I realize this is an older thread... but we have a 2015 288BHS. It has curtains instead of sliding doors in the master. A full size queen mattress (and memory foam) fits perfectly.
