Heating and Air problem..help!

We just recently bought our '13 Chaparral in January and we are totally green and new to all this. Two days ago when we turned our heat on our air conditioner turned on too. So, it's still doing that and it's freezing and all we have are space heaters. Anyone had these issues before??

In fact you do but I don't know how to change it.
Hopefully some one is on to know.

I think you hold down the up/down button to changes modes.

Do u have the brochure for thermostat that came with the camper?

Hold mode button down watch face for change.

Push the button until it lights up next to"fan", then cycle the other buttons until it says auto, then switch back to heat and all will be well.
Good luck

supposedly that's a feature, dealer told me that way you can better circulate your heat. Not sure if I buy it or not...

I feel like a total idiot, but thankfully it's no longer 54 degrees in here lol one more question..does any RV have electric heat? Our dealer said we did but much to our dismay we found out otherwise.

Some have heat strips in the AC unit, but usually you add that after. Another option is an electric fireplace.
We just bring a small electric heater along in cooler temps

That's what we've been told but we need all the space we can get right now plus first will be adding a washer/dryer.
