Help me identify this please

I am trying to determine what water drain line this is. We never use our fresh water holding tank and went to use a couple weeks back and filled it up only to have it all drain out of the the (attached pic) drain. is this the low drain valve? or is it the fresh water drain? and obviously something is missing

Many thanks for your help. this is located at the rear driver side of the trailer.

I would say if it's close to your Fresh water fill up it may be your fresh water tank drain.

shouldn't be a low point drain, there would be two of those one hot and one cold. Prob the fresh tank drain (if you never use it) a simple plastic plug from any hardware or big box store plumbing section should plug that.

unless it starts to drip when the tank is full then its the fresh tank overflow

Looks like the FW tank drain. It should have a plug in the end. Many people forego the plug and add a 1/4 turn valve to allow for easier draining. Most likely a 1/2" non tapered thread.

It looks like your fresh water drain without a plug in the end. Get a plug from a local dealer and you'll be OK.

1/2" PVC Close Nipple 1/2" from Amazon (also available in irrigation supplies at Home Depot):

Check and see if there is a valve beside your water tank. I have a drain like this and the valve is under the bed beside the water tank

Looks like the FW drain on my trailer. Should be a cap on that line though.

Another tip that it's FW drain would be is it located near or between those 2 u-channel's under the trailer that hold the FW tank up? If it is, you confirmed it's the drain. Mine is straight out of the tank with no valve, just a cap that I take off to drain.

Could be the overflow for fresh water tank. Mine is on right side about 3feet from rear about 6 inches in.
