Leaking slide out in Freedom Express 246rks

Just bought a 2016 Freedom Express 246 rks a month ago. When I opened up the camper to store some stuff in it, I noticed water on the floor on the left side of the couch. Got up underneath the couch and discovered water leaking from the bottom of the slide out. I can't figure out how the water is getting in! Slide out is closed and I checked the slideout from the outside and it seems to be shut tight. Anyone else having similar issues with their slideout? Any suggestions on how water is getting in? I'm so disappointed. I haven't even used the camper yet!

Open slide and check the black rubber seals. If there is a gap in the seal, water can enter.

I know this is going to sound funny have you put water in your fresh water supply yet. My 2016 freedom express Liberty edition was doing the same thing come to find out the fresh water fill hose had a cut in it and water it was supposed to be going into the freshwater tank was actually going inside the camper

Thank you for your advice. I will keep both of those tips in mind if it ever happens again (hopefully it won't). I decided to take the camper back to the dealer and have them fix it. Since the camper is not even a month old yet, its the least they can do. I am interested to hear what they find. I am hoping the dealer will make it right!

Trust me the dealer will make it right their reputation will be on the line and they want to make sure they have a happy customer especially since you just bought it a month ago my dealer was bent over backwards and apologized profusely for having the issues that I had seems that wasn't checked at the Q&A portion of the factory.

Finally got my Freedom Express back from the dealer today. It seems my slideout was not sealed properly at the factory. Dealer replaced the seal and my camper is back to brand new, so I took it back to my permanent site. Opened up the camper one last time at the site to make sure everything was okay. That's when I found that the shower door had shattered! Couldn't believe my eyes!! The right door was off the track and the glass partition was in a million pieces on the floor. I am devastated. I've never even messed with the shower yet myself! So I drove all the way back to the dealership to have this fixed. What worries me is whether or not this repair will fall under warranty. I haven't even used this camper yet! I'm starting to feel as if I don't even want it anymore. Click image for larger version

The clasp on the shower door does not always hold well. I took a piece of 1/8" plywood 7" x 5" and cut a large inverted "U" on one edge. I slide this over the top of the door frame and door to keep the shower door closed just in case the clasp fails. My guess is that the shower door came open while traveling and crashed against the corner of the sink cabinet ( as evidenced by glass on sink).
