Mfg warranty and extended warranty question

Will be purchasing a Coachmen Chapparal 360ibl in the next few weeks. I have done some research on both good sam and Xtraride....

My question is - how long is the original manufacturer warranty with coachmen and should I start the warranty with good sam /Xtraride from day 1 or wait till the mfg is over?

It was explained to me as a 1 year. I opted for a GS and I just started it from day one. They may quote you a different price a year out.

We got a seven year extended warranty when we bought our Freedom Express 192RBS. It was optional and I thought it was a great idea as it covers parts and labor after hundred dollar deductible.

We just bought a 360ibl a month ago. 2 yr MFG warranty. We also got the Xtra ride policy... I think 7 yrs.

I bought mine 3 days ago and also got the 5-year xtended.
