Need help
Can anyone tell me how big of a tv can my outside wall mount handle? I recently purchased a Coachmen Chaperal 390qsmb bunk house. I wanted to replace the inside factory tv with my 55" inch tv, but the tv is a inch to big. So I wanted to use it for the outside. Just want to make sure that the mount out side could support a tv that big before doing so. Any kind of help on this is much appreciated.

I would not advise it.
But it is your unit.
If I had a TV that big I would set it on a table and not hang it on the side of my unit.

What kind of mount?
How would you attach the mount?
Tv weight is gonna be 50 plus pounds plus the mount.

It's a bracket that is already attached to the outside of the rv.

It's not a matter of the size of the TV, it's a matter of the size of the bracket (screw hole pattern). The bracket is a 200 x 200 bracket (Vesa wall mount) which will mount up to a 32" TV. Once you go bigger then a 32" TV, you then get into the 400 x 400 range mounting holes. I put a 32" in my bedroom on that bracket (again because it was the biggest I could find for the 200 x 200 size) and it holds no problem inside or out.

We use a tripod for our 42" outside. Works very well, plus you can move it around if needed to keep the glare off of it.

I mount my 42", 22 pound LG TV on the side of my camper wherever I want to using the GOstik suction mount.
Here is a link: GOstik Products Flat screen TV Suction Cup Mount | GoStik
It's not cheap, but it sure serves its purpose and leaves me with the option to put my TV wherever I want whenever I want.

I'll add that the standard mount that comes with the GOstik will work for up to a VESA 200 x 200. Let them know if you need a mount for a larger VESA dimension. My TV requires VESA 400 x 400 and they provided me with the kit to make that work.
The mount will hold up to 30 pounds.

Great idea and scary all at the same time. Using that doesn't make you nervous?

I thought the same thing. I am sure it is secure, but man a suction cup... Yikes!

Not at all. Not now, anyway. At first, I was very scared and kept checking it to make sure everything was okay. After a couple of weeks hanging on the side of the RV and walking into it and knocking it several times, it never gave way.
I don't even think about it anymore. The only time it comes off is when I take it off.
I also bought a waterproof outdoor cover for my TV so I don't have to worry about the rain and taking it down every night.

Would you happen to have a picture of that water proof cover or tell me what you used to accomplish that?

The cover is made by InCover. It is very well made. I bought mine, which is for a 42" TV, on Amazon. InCover and others make all different sizes. Here is the link to mine on Amazon.
