New Freedom express 291qbs

Picked up our 2013 last week and had a great time camping last weekend in it First time for my wife and me and we are hooked!. Couple of things for the Dealer to address next week but all in all it was a great time staying in the RV. Sure beats a tent. One of the power cord prongs melted, but I later learned that its usually the box you're plugging into that causes it. Cabinet sides around oven got really hot while oven was in use, worried me a little but I guess if insulation ws supposed to be there it would. Stero speakers are reversed, shower water runs off front ledge of tub onto bath floor. May have to get a guard for that. Got up at 6 am., little chilly, so I decided to run the furnace and warm everyone up. All was good until the smoke detector went off . Wife was not happy. Guess when these things are new they need to burn off some stuff the first time you use them. Really enjoyed ourselves and this forum is priceless for a newbie. Thanks to all of you in advance for taking the time to help us beginners out, you make this experience much more enjoyable and can solve just about any prob. someone could have with a RV. I always heard that campers were the nicest people in the world and now I believe it. Happy Campin!

Can anyone tell me if the water pressure regulator that the dealer gave me goes at the camper end of the hose or on the campground outlet, or does it make a difference?

I put mine on the campground faucet. That way the pressure regulator protects your hose as well.

Good idea, I never thought to ask the dealer when I picked up the camper. Taking it back to him on Tue. for some minor fixes. Thanks for amswering,

Nice trailer. We bought a Freedom Express 233RBS in May and just got back from 10 days dry camping in Colorado. Love ours.
