We just bought a leftover new 2013 Chapparal 328RES. DH went to the lot to look at an 8 year old Keystone Alpine and ended up in love with the floorplan and interior quality of the Chapparal. We signed the papers that night. The dealer has to do the hitch install on our truck next Thursday and we can bring the RV home that day.

There were a couple issues that we noticed when we first looked at the unit that the dealer is fixing now.

I am glad to see so many happy campers loving their Coachmans!

I note this is your first post here so I bid you welcome from SW Idaho.
We like what we have and look to spend more time in it this year.
Mt. Rushmore is on the list.

Good luck and have fun with you unit.

My Chappy's still in storage mode. I'm in the middle of a transfer and move for work and no time.
Hopefully in a month or 2 we'll roll her out and at least hit the Hill Country. We have a severe case of hitch itch.

Ok Dave and Sue ok RKR on the storage, our
Chappy is half in and half out of getting ready
to summer. The DW and I had a accident on
March 28th, young 16 year old girl pulled out in
front on us on our way home and I hit her
broadside, totaled our highlander and put a big
dent in the side of her 98 Dodge Dually.
We both landed in the hospital, me for three
days and the DW for over three weeks, the DW
ended up with a number of broken ribs and I
fared much better with only a bad neck, back
and alot of pain but nothing broken. So thus
ended the de-winterizing of the Chappy and
possibly a number of outings this year...Ugh

Last year the DW had breast cancer so we only
went out a few times at the end of the summer
do to her treatments and then this, seems like
were doomed
